To the Moon and Back: Baby Moon at Callaway Gardens

This past weekend, Drew and I went on a little getaway to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. We had a great time and wonderful weather. It was a little hot for our liking especially being seven and half months pregnant but overall a lot of fun!

We went to the Butterfly Garden

There were several other birds at the show but this one they walked around the crowd so you could get a good picture. All the birds flew right over Drew's head. So close that he had to duck. It was a really neat show.

We spend some time at Robin Lake Beach.

We also had a nice dinner at The Garden's Restaurant.

There are a ton of things to do at Callaway Gardens. Most things I couldn't do because I was pregnant but would love to come back sometime when the kids are old enough. A few things we did do that we don't have pictures of, is went to the FSU circus show and rented a golf cart and rode around the gardens.

On Sunday we went to the Wild Animal Safari which is 4 miles away from Callaway Gardens. It was the coolest zoo Drew and I have every been too! There is a little walking part of the zoo but it's mainly a drive thru zoo that you can do in your own car. All of the animals walk right up to your car to get food. It is the craziest thing.
