Couples Baby Shower

Saturday, June 9, The Mork's and The Groom's hosted a wonderful couples baby shower for Drew and I.  It was a jungle themed shower which goes along with the twins nursery.  Even though the weather wasn't the best, we had a fabulous time and I really enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp!!  It is my new craving!

Drew was excited to get his own diaper bag which even has a pocket to hold three quail.

Everyone had a great time and Drew was overwhelmed by all the gifts his friends gave.  We are very thankfully to have such good friends and so much support for our new little babies!  We are truely blessed.

Today we got to see the babies in a 3D/4D ultrasound.  It was amazing!!  One of the nice things about this ultrasound was we got to bring our parents.  The grandparents were really amazed at the technology as there weren't even 2D ultrasounds when they were having us.

Little Andrew has a chubby little face and seems to be smashing his little sister most of the time.  Most of the pictures of Hayes, she has the thin dividing membrane across her face with Andrew's hand pushing on it. They both are doing extremely well and are active little babies.

 This is the picture I was talking about where you can see Andrew on the left and it looks like he is in a bubble.  He is in his own sac but pushing on her.

To us they look a lot alike and we see some of Drew and I in both of  them. Hayes had her little fingers in her mouth at the beginning of the ultrasound.  She also opened her eyes and mouth a couple of times.  Toward the end we got both of them giving a high five or punching each other. I guess that starts right away with brother and sister. 

We are so excited about these little babies and we can't wait for them to get here!!  Only a few more months to go!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was celebrated with all of our families!  We started off by going to church Christmas Eve with Drew's family and then had dinner at his parent's house.  Christmas morning we woke up early and Drew and I opened our gift together and then headed to his sister's house to watch the kids open their gifts.  Once they had opened everything we headed back to our house to get dressed and head to my mom's house for Christmas brunch with the Williams group, which was small this year.  We only had Aunt Karen, Uncle Doug, Kevin, Ty, Mom, Drew and I and we invited Drew's parents (which was a great addition).  After brunch we headed home for a nap and then out to my dad's house we went for Christmas dinner!  We had a lovely dinner that Kathy prepared and opening gifts was even more exciting with Cooper's first Christmas.

I'm sad to say that the only pictures that we took were at our house and the pictures aren't that great.  If I get some other pictures from other family members I will add them to this post. 

We had a wonderful Christmas and for the first year ever did not have a Christmas tree due to all of our house renovations which will be the next post.

Drew's Birthday - 2011

I have decided that I need to go ahead and start back blogging because I'm so far behind and once the twins get here I will never catch up.  So here I go....

Last November, we celebrated Drew's birthday by going out to dinner to Masa, one of his favorite restaurants.

A Boy and A Girl

Could we be any luckier!!!  Drew and I are so thrilled to be having a little boy and a little girl. 

Today was our 16 week appointment and they confirmed that Baby A is a girl and Baby B is a boy!!!!

NYE 2012 = One Year Anniversary

For our one year anniversary we headed down to Tampa to join a group of my college friends and go to Aqua Eve an event at the Tampa Aquarium.  We first checked into our hotel room at the Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina.  Thanks mom for the hotel room!

Once we unpacked and settled in we walked down River Walk to Channelside and grabbed some food at Tinatapas.  From there we went back to the hotel to get ready for the evening.  Once we were ready we met the gang back down at Channelside for a few drinks before heading to the aquarium. 

Then we headed to the Aquarium for fabulous evening!  Great friends, plenty of drinks, good food, awesome fireworks and tons of wonderful memories!

Here's to another wonderful year with my great husband!!  Happy 2012!!

Farm Weekend

A few weekends ago we were at the farm and invited The Dennis family, Jason and Amy up for the night.  We had such a good time.  The kids really enjoyed picking pecans, picking up sticks for the bon fire, shooting the bow and arrow, smores and riding on the golf cart! 

What a wonderful evening we had with such special friends!
