Mother's Day Weekend

Drew and I had a fabulous mother's day weekend!  We got down to Drew's family's beach house on Ochlocknee Bay in the wee hours of Saturday morning.  John Andrew and Kay were waiting up for us and we all watched the House Sine Die and went to bed.

Saturday we went on a fishing trip to the South Sholes.

That evening we took my mom out to dinner for Mother's Day!  We had a wonderful meal at the Melting Pot! On the way to dinner we stopped off at Roselawn and left a flower for Nanny.  We know she was looking down on us and knows how much we miss her.  Happy Mother's Day Nanny!

Tonight we are celebrating Mother's Day with Kathy and Bridget.

Thank you mom's for being such wonderful, caring people!  We are so lucky to have you in our lives!

Love you all!

Session is over......what a relief!!!

This year I suprised Drew with an end of session present (which he claims other husbands and wives do):

For as much as this boy is outside, he has never had a nice pair of sunglasses.  So I bought him a pair of Maui Jim's and he was thrilled.  I'm so happy that he is enjoying them.

Glad you made it through another year baby!  I love you!!

Spring Birthday's

The past two weeks have been filled with birthday's galore and I have been very lazy with taking pictures so please forgive me.

Last week we started off our list of birthday's with our dear friend Teresa Dennis. Her birthday was April 25 and we were unable to celebrate at dinner with she and Steven due to a baseball game.  Next up is my cousin Christian.  His birthday is April 26 and he lives in Washington DC so we left the celebrating up to his wife Carla!  Third on the list is another cousin of mine, Kevin.  Drew and I took Kevin out to Barnaby's and had the best time!  What is better than great pizza and good company!  The next birthday boy is Uncle Doug.  His birthday is April 28 and he was off celebrating his birthday in France with the Sister's (Aunt Karen, Aunt Kathy and My Mom)!

During the week of birthday I spent one evening at Sara Britton and Matty J's house.  I had the best time with Allie Boone.  She is so sweet!

The final birthday of the week was Jason Mork, who is a good friend of Drew's and now mine!  His lovely wife Shelia threw a surprise (or not so much) party at their house.  We had such a great time!  Tons of friends, food and bocce ball.  Saturday before the party Drew, Jason and Jason Hart play golf at Summer Brooke.

Now this leads me into this week, Monday, May 2, 2011 was my best friend Fran's birthday!  We celebrated with all of her friends at Mockingbird Cafe.  It was a fabulous evening!

The rest of the week was pretty laid back.  Drew has been working late nights so I decided to have dinner ready for him when he got home and we ate dinner outside on the deck.  The weather was perfect!  We also use one of our wedding gifts for the first time.....Thank you Betts's Family!!!

Copper helping set the table!
The next night we had my mom over for a Mexican Fiesta to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

We are so fortunate to have such great friends and family!  Happy Birthday to everyone!

Have a great Mother's Day Weekend!

Sunday we got up early for a pancake breakfast that John Andrew cook for us and then we headed to church.  We went down the beach to the St. Teresa Community Church which was a really neat experience.

Thanks everyone for a wonderful Easter Weekend!  We enjoyed having the Smith/Musselwhite family with us and we missed Mom, Aunt Karen, Uncle Doug, Aunt Kathy, Sarah, Chin, Carla, Uncle Johnny, Aunt Tina, Worth and Mike.  And most of all, my grandmother, Nanny!!  I know we were all thinking about her even though we were spread out all over the world.

April at the Beach

This weekend Drew and I headed down to St. Teresa Beach to relax and get things ready for Easter Weekend.  We didn't get down till late Friday night because we had a baseball game.

When we got there was had a little surprise waiting for us.....Easter came early!

My mom left Saturday morning to head to the French Riviera with Sarah, Aunt Karen and Uncle Doug.  Since she was gone over Easter she had left a basket for Drew and I.  We were thrilled to get new flip flops...especially Drew!  Thank you mom for a wonderful Easter basket!  (I know...I'm 31 and I'm still getting an Easter basket) :)

On to the rest of our weekend....

Walker our slightly slow King Charles Spainel has gotten to be quite adventurous these days.  He takes off down the beach plays in the water, eats sea squirts and runs which doesn't happen often.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Last night we all went over to John Andrew and Kay's house for another birthday celebration!  It was a baseball theme party for the UF vs. FSU game.  It was so much fun!

We had boiled peanuts, pop corn, nachos, chips and for dinner we had Mutt and Jeff's slaw dogs!!!

Mary Carlton made my favorite cake which is red velvet with cream cheese icing!!  She decorated it in orange and blue on one side and garnet and gold on the other.

Fuller and Mary Carlton also made decorations for the game.  We had an heart that was cracked down the middle with orange and blue on one side and garnet and gold on the other.  They also made a house divided sign.  They did such a good job!

Here are pictures throughout the evening.
